Childsplay's CAST - Teen Show Choir is a dedicated program for teens aiming to enhance their vocal and dance performance skills. The program places a strong emphasis on developing powerful vocals, harmonizing, and dance performance. It seeks teen participants eager to challenge themselves, excel in a team environment, and can commit to regular rehearsals. The curriculum is delivered through in-person sessions, with rehearsals scheduled on Wednesdays from 5 PM - 7 PM. The duration of the program spans from August 21st to December 4th, constituting the Fall Semester. Performances by the CAST troupe are featured on "Academy Days" at all Childsplay public shows, the Childsplay Gala in the Spring, and various events throughout the year. Admission to the program is through auditions, which can be submitted via video or attended in person. Applicants are required to prepare a one-minute singing performance, preferably with a recording or karaoke track. The program encourages ongoing auditions throughout the semester. The program is tutored by Rachel McCabe, a reputed name in the field. The tuition for the CAST - Teen Show Choir is $70 per month, amounting to a total of $350 per semester, with payments due on the 21st of each month. Participation in the program offers teens the opportunity to strengthen their vocal and dance skills, gain performance experience, and participate in a team-oriented, disciplined environment.
