CEISMC Summer P.E.A.K.S. (Programs for Enrichment and Accelerated Knowledge in STEAM) offered by Georgia Tech are immersive one to two-week experiences aimed at enhancing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) knowledge. These programs are specifically designed for rising 9th-12th grade students and are conducted on-campus at Georgia Tech. The primary objective is to provide high school students with enriching and engaging educational activities that emphasize experiential learning. The curriculum focuses on various STEAM topics through hands-on activities that foster an engaging learning environment. Each program is uniquely themed, offering a full summer of STEAM education and fun. Programs run weekly during the summer months of June and July, with daily sessions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and optional extended care available until 6:00 PM for an additional cost. The programs are delivered in person at the Georgia Tech Atlanta Campus, ensuring participants benefit from direct interaction and collaboration with peers. Participants are grouped according to their grade levels to ensure age-appropriate learning experiences, and all activities are tailored to meet these educational needs. The programs do not mention specific instructors or prerequisites, focusing instead on providing an inclusive and accessible environment where high school students can deepen their understanding of STEAM disciplines.
