The Dual Enrollment Program at Colorado State University (CSU) offers a unique opportunity for Colorado high school students to earn course credits similar to on-campus students through online dual enrollment courses. The program is available to students throughout Colorado and is particularly beneficial for those whose high school or school district has an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CSU Online. The Dual Enrollment Program provides both lower and upper division world language courses, along with specialized mathematics courses such as MATH 369 and MATH 340. Additional courses may also be available, subject to approval by the Academic Department. The curriculum is designed to align with students' interests and potential majors, providing a solid foundation for future academic pursuits. The program is offered in two formats. The Extended Campus Dual Enrollment courses are delivered online, providing inclusive access to students across Colorado. Alternatively, CSU collaborates with Poudre School District to offer on-campus courses within the Dual Enrollment program. The delivery method mainly depends on the specific agreement between the high school or school district and CSU. To participate in the program, students are required to complete the Dual Enrollment Request Form and consult with their high school counselor. It is important for students to ensure that the chosen course aligns with their interests and potential major, and does not overlap with their Advanced Placement (AP) credits. Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn the same course credits as on-campus students, enhancing their academic profile and providing an early start to their university education. Students should note that courses taken through the Extended Campus Dual Enrollment program are not eligible for Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF) assistance.
