The Diamond Challenge is a global entrepreneurship competition designed to empower high school students to develop innovative solutions to problems they are passionate about. This free program engages students from around the world, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and providing a platform for experiential learning. Participants have the opportunity to build and pitch their business or social venture concepts, competing for a share of $100,000 in awards to advance their ventures or support their higher education aspirations. The curriculum focuses on developing an entrepreneurial mindset through evidence-based, experiential learning. Key topics include identifying pressing challenges, developing business ideas, and gaining first-hand experience with the entrepreneurial process. Students are guided by a network of over 2,000 professionals who serve as mentors, judges, speakers, and workshop leaders, offering valuable feedback and fostering future collaborations. The Diamond Challenge is delivered through a hybrid format, combining online components with in-person events. Throughout the year-long program, students participate in open session presentations and external reviews of their venture concepts. The program culminates in a final competition where the top teams are awarded grand prizes, as well as topical prizes recognizing expertise in areas such as sustainability and technological innovation. Participants gain valuable skills in business development, problem-solving, and networking, which can contribute significantly to their personal and professional growth.
