Forsyth Student Scholars opens doors to careers in STEM for underserved high school students. Created in 1993, the summer internship program allows students to work side-by-side in the laboratory with world-renowned scientists engaged in cutting-edge research. The Student Scholars program is an eight-week internship for Massachusetts high school students. Forsyth’s world-class scientists serve as mentors to the students throughout the summer. Interns learn basic laboratory techniques by participating in mentors’ research projects in a productive and enriching scientific environment. At the end of the program, students present the findings from their own research project.
