One of the teachers, Bobby Gordon, boasts an MBA from the University of Arizona and has served as an instructor at multiple institutions, including UC San Diego. He also has over 20 years of experience as a marketing and branding specialist, advisor, and consultant in higher education. Another instructor, Dr. Jerome Roberson, is the Facilities Director for Howard University School of Law and West Campus and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Enrollment in the course does come with prerequisites. Specifically, students must have completed the "Futures: Organizational Behavior" course before enrolling in the "Futures: Elements of Marketing". It's also important to note that the course series must be completed in order, with a passing grade in each course before enrolling in the next one. Upon completion of the course, students will have gained practical experience and knowledge in a variety of industry sectors, along with a foundational understanding of integrated marketing communications. They will also have developed a basic marketing plan.
