Phillips Academy's Mathematics & Science for Minority Students ((MS)²) program is a free, multi-summer residential initiative that supports high-achieving minority high school students interested in STEM. Each summer, students attend for five weeks, engaging in rigorous coursework across mathematics, science, and English, with additional college counseling. (MS)² provides a challenging academic environment aimed at building confidence, leadership, and college readiness. The curriculum emphasizes in-depth learning with top instructors and offers a broad range of academic and personal growth activities, including sports and student-led initiatives. Participants have access to Phillips Academy’s resources and participate in an inclusive, diverse community, building lasting friendships with peers and mentors. Open to students from underserved backgrounds, (MS)² fosters a commitment to educational and career aspirations in STEM, making a lasting impact on students' academic and professional trajectories.
