This program is open to teens between the ages of 14 and 19 who are in 9th to 11th grade and reside in the greater Houston Metropolitan area. It's a two-year commitment, with monthly TAC meetings held both virtually and in-person, along with additional dates for TAC-planned special events. Participants are expected to contribute actively to the group, suggesting that they will gain skills in event planning, social media management, and leadership, among other areas. The program underscores the importance of science, implying that participants will have the opportunity to delve into scientific topics that interest them. A unique aspect of this program is the balance of in-person and virtual meetings, allowing for flexible participation. Additionally, the program requires parental consent, highlighting its focus on ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
