Physics Brawl Online is a free, international physics competition designed for high school students. The primary objective is to challenge participants with a series of physics problems that test their knowledge and problem-solving skills. The competition is conducted entirely online, allowing students from around the world to participate. The event is structured as a timed contest where participants initially receive seven problems to solve. Once a problem is solved, a new one is immediately provided. Additionally, there is a "Hurry-up" phase where a new set of problems related to different physics fields is introduced, and for a limited time, participants can earn bonus points for solving these problems quickly. The competition begins with the release of the initial problems and proceeds through the Hurry-up phase before concluding with the publication of the author's solutions and the settling of any potential conflicts. Registration for the competition is open from early September until mid-November. The Physics Brawl Online is facilitated by a team of organizers and guarantors from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University, including experts from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, the Department of Physics Didactics, and the Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics. The organizers and consultants are primarily students and researchers from various related scientific fields, ensuring a well-rounded and academically rigorous competition. Participants benefit from the competition by enhancing their physics knowledge, improving their problem-solving skills, and gaining the experience of competing on an international platform.
