The organization hosts two free 24-hour high school hackathons annually, attracting hundreds of talented students from the tri-state area and beyond. These events provide a unique computer science education experience that emphasizes community, education, and innovation. The curriculum of TeenHacks LI includes project-based learning, workshops, and access to new technologies. Participants are mentored by experienced individuals, allowing them to gain practical programming skills and work on creative solutions to real-world problems. The hackathons are delivered in-person, fostering a hands-on and interactive learning environment. The hackathons are scheduled twice a year, typically lasting 24 hours each. The events gather the brightest minds and encourage participants to think outside the box, build innovative projects, and develop their technical abilities. The hackathons are accessible to all high school students interested in computer science and programming. Participants benefit from the opportunity to learn new skills, connect with like-minded peers, and gain valuable experience in the field of computer science.
